Where is the session located?
These mini sessions take place in either Lexington or Weston, MA, depending on the date you select. Each location is chosen for beautiful New England fall foliage and easy family access.
Please review the session details carefully when booking to confirm your selected location. If you’re looking for a custom location, a full outdoor family session would be a better fit.
What if the weather is bad?
Because this is an outdoor session, we have a designated rain date.
Please make sure your family is available for both dates before booking.
New England weather can be unpredictable, and this helps us keep the experience smooth for everyone.
Can we bring our dog?
Absolutely—and highly encouraged.
Outdoor sessions are the perfect chance to include your furry family members (Studio sessions generally cannot accommodate pets, so this is a fun opportunity to bring them along.)
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
This is one of the most common concerns—and completely normal. I do not expect children to sit still and smile on command. My approach is playful, guided, and built around movement, connection, and real interaction. Outdoor mini sessions are often actually easier for little ones because they have space to move naturally.
What should we wear?
Fall family photos look best with soft neutrals, earthy tones, cozy textures, and coordinated layers that complement the natural autumn colors.

Can I bring props?
