The 2024 Easter season arrived unusually early this year, and due to unpredictable weather conditions, the popular Encounter Egg Drop event was unfortunately canceled. Despite this, there are still plenty of enjoyable activities to partake in around Boston. It was a delight to reunite with this wonderful family once again. I had the pleasure of photographing the big brother's 100-day milestone, and seeing him now as a kindergartener is truly remarkable! His adorable little sister, who's just three years old, has graced my lens countless times. Their devoted mother has been a consistent presence at my mini sessions over the past few years. Witnessing the children's growth and capturing these precious memories has been the most fulfilling aspect of my job. The mother strongly believes in preserving memories, whether they evoke laughter or tears.
Are 15-20 minute mini sessions sufficient for children under three? While it may take some time for them to warm up, I've found that this actually adds more variety to the session. Although the baby sister initially shows some apprehension in new environments, she quickly brightens up with the support of her family and engaging parents. During sibling photo sessions, I've observed that younger siblings often learn from and imitate the behavior of their older counterparts, especially among toddlers.
