Lexington Family Photo Session

As a photographer, I have had the pleasure of capturing many special moments for families over the years. One family, in particular, that I have had the joy of photographing multiple times is Yan's family, including their two children, Gabriella and Joshua.

I remember the first time I met the family, when Joshua was just learning how to sit without support. Now, he is a 4-year-old boy who can run around and has grown so much over the years. It has been an honor to document his growth and that of his sister Gabriella, who has always been a natural in front of the camera.

I prefer to do outdoor family photo sessions during sunset hours. This time of day is often referred to as the 'golden hour' by photographers, as the light creates a beautiful golden glow in the pictures. This session took place in Lexington, MA, where Gabriella and Joshua live. For families with young children, like Yan's, I always recommend choosing a location close to their home to avoid exhausting the kids with a long drive.

Gabriella's passion for dance always shines through in our sessions, and I rarely need to give her any instructions. Joshua, on the other hand, is still in the "stranger danger" phase and can sometimes become upset during the photo shoot. That's why I recommend outdoor sessions for young children, as they can feel more at ease in natural environments and can run around freely.

I would like to express my gratitude to Yan for entrusting me to capture her family's special moments over the years. It has been an incredible experience to witness the growth of her children and their family as a whole. I look forward to many more years of working together and capturing even more cherished memories.
