Boston Newborn Photography| Lifestyle Newborn Photoshoot

During his newborn session in my Woburn studio, Baby Michael was peaceful and serene, sleeping through most of the session as newborns typically do. One of the highlights of a lifestyle newborn session is the intimacy of having the baby cradled in their parents' arms, creating a cozy atmosphere that minimizes crying and usually lasts between 45 minutes to an hour.

Michael's mom chose a lovely dress that complemented my Boho lifestyle setup perfectly, as I always recommend light solid colors such as white, beige, cream, or other neutrals to harmonize with the boho aesthetic. For more details on my boho lifestyle setup, you can refer to this blog post.

Engaging with parents during sessions is a joy for me, and I'm often touched by their stories. Michael's mom shared that she wants him to have siblings so he doesn't feel lonely, drawing from her own experience of having a close bond with her little brother, who is her best friend. As someone who grew up as an only child, I understand this longing for sibling companionship deeply. Now, as a mother of two, I hope my children will maintain a strong connection as they grow.
